Misty Hubbard Gutierrez joined Thomas, Feldman & Wilshusen, L.L.P. in 2009 and became a partner in 2016. Ms. Gutierrez is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and advises clients from all segments of the construction industry regarding breach of contract claims, mechanic's and materialman's liens, bond claims, delay claims, design defect claims, and other construction-related claims. Ms. Gutierrez has represented subcontractors, suppliers, general contractors, design professionals, and owners and has experience handling and resolving disputes through mediation, arbitration, litigation and the appellate process.

Ms. Gutierrez was born in Amarillo, Texas and graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Psychology. Ms. Gutierrez graduated with honors from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of law in 2007.
